Narrow shoulders aide his slim build. Pale dusty white skin nearly translucent in looks, thin and delicate as paper, one can faintly see blue veins that run through his wrists and neck. Deep black hair with the façade of a blue sheen falls just below his waist. Ren uses wigs when needed for fancy hairstyles but on a daily basis he pulls it back into a foxtail allowing the long bangs to fall around his oval face. Eyes the color of a rich blue, there’s a certain wildness to them held back by a thin barrier. Often lined with kohl, the dark coloring draws you into his hypnotizing gaze. Delicate cheekbones and concubine lips, his features are soft and feminine and free of facial hair as Ren often portrays a woman in his profession. A tapered waist helps add to the illusion of being female with carefully padded clothes that hide narrow hips. His hands are small with long fingers better suited a pianist, they are carefully voided of the typical calluses associated with working hands. The only thing Ren doesn’t hide is his flat chest when in the guise of a woman, if a individual desires more then breasts then they are worthy of the company of Madam Butterfly. Ren carries himself much like a woman, instead of the straight precise walk of a man he walks with a slow sway and a practiced delicateness in his movements from a simple wave of a hand to the way he runs. Ren’s personal taste in clothing is simple and classic but of the unnorm, preferring the style of women’s clothing. They seem to fit his slight frame better and he has grown accustomed to tailored fits. His favorite colors are maroon and gold and he has a penchant for wearing a jeweled butterfly clip in his hair. On a day to day basis Ren is comfortable in simple long dresses or jeans and a blouse. While working he wears clothing that are a mix of Asian and Renaissance, brilliant and colorful though never gaudy, they range from the extravagant to the subdue. It usually depends on what a customer prefers but always Ren will have small butterflies clipped in his hair. When Ren portrays a woman he does a fairly decent job deceiving most, the normal telltale Adam’s apple is nearly invisible due to his birth defect but pulling off a man take a bit of work. Personality: As a person who sells their body for money, Ren is quite the down to earth kind of guy. Prostitution is a job and while enjoyable to a degree he doesn’t mix his home life with work. Under the guise of Madam Butterfly he is charming, witty, subservient, a delicate flower to float serenely on a businessman’s arm. Take off the makeup and costumes and Ren would rather lounge around his abode or go shopping. He enjoys the finer things in life, due to the struggles he endured to get where he is today, Ren isn’t one to skimp on luxury. A lush really, some might consider him shallow but if you can’t bother to take a break once in a while then all there is, is work. Ren takes pride in what he does, he’s had years of practice to shrug off the disapproving looks or disgusted jeers. Plus, nothing makes an evening worth wild then to flaunt under the prim and proper snobbish people. Ren has a big heart for the underprivileged. It’s in his nature to keep an eye out on those around him, acting as a surrogate maternal role that ranges from kind words of encouragement to a full out rib crushing bear hug. He describes it as a rescuing drive that results in swift immediate actions taken upon a transgressor be it nagging or a good smack to the head. However he considers himself a realist and isn’t going to sugar coat life. Ren has a simple sense of humor, it doesn’t take much to get him laughing. That goes for pretty much everything else. When Ren’s mad, everyone knows. Not one to cowl his emotions, the courtesan is upfront about his feelings as to alleviate any misgivings later on. Strengths: Shrewd businessman, its work before pleasure. Always. An actor, Ren can be the lady (or man) of your dreams. He can go from black tie affair to college party at the local bar but still maintain the air of sophistication. Today, Madam Butterfly resides as a high class courtesan reserved mostly for the wealthy. Speaks fluent Japanese, Mandarin Chinese and some French and has been trained in the arts of entertainment much like a Geisha, of conversation, musical instrument (The shamisen) and dancing as well as prostitution. Weaknesses: Ren is physically not a strong person and relies on his robots to be the brawn. Despite his title, Ren does indeed run by many rules and a standard of behavior to he is to abide by. A pushover when it comes to sob stories, he has often opened his dwelling to runaways and people looking to start over. Many clients expect Madam Butterfly to sing along with many of his talents when in fact, Ren couldn’t carry a tune to save his life. He gets away by humming a few bars before distracting the client with something else. Ren has made an oath to never fall in love nor marry, he cannot bear children and though he adores them he would rather not raise them. History: Ren was born to a young Japanese prostitute on a small space station near the Middle Rims. Her father unknown, her mother gave the child up for whatever reason lost in the haze of drugs and alcohol. The babe was taken under the care of a local orphanage and up until the age of 5, Gabriella was thought to be nothing more then a little girl and was treated as such. A once a year trip to the local doctor shed some light around an anomaly that cropped up during a blood test and it was found out that Gabriella was born with a genetic defect, a hermaphrodite with undescended male genital and the absence of a female reproductive tract leaving him infertile and androgynous in appearance. In essence, he was classified as genetically male but without the extra attachments thus appearance wise he was female. To rectify this problem, Ren was shifted more towards boyish games and clothing confusing the adolescent. At the age of 7, Ren was eventually passed on to a large robust lady that ran a brothel in the Rim Worlds and was in need of extra help. Now in the guise of a young boy, Gabriella became Gabriel and random chore boy that ranged from running errands to cleaning. Several months into his new job, a particular client came in with a certain young fetish and several of the young boys that worked there fit the bill, Gabriel amongst them. It only five minutes before he was shoved out of the room, a little bewildered but untouched as he puts it; the client didn’t like girls. Despite the new revelation, Gabriel maintained his position as chore boy until the age of 14 where he was then deemed old enough to work in the brothels. By then, the original brothel had been up and moved several times by the bare law enforcement and the crew settled on a planet in the Middle Rim. Gabe was then dubbed The Blue Lady during a fad of giving out fanciful titles on the account of his mood and the ability to cry at the drop of a hat. At the age of 18, he was given the choice to remain or move on to another lifestyle. Dropping his stage name, Gabriel set out to try a hand at another life but like an old hat, he returned to what he knew and worked the pleasure quarters of a large city in the Inner Rim. He sported a new stage name, dropping Gabriel and became Lady Firefly cooking up a random story of being survivor of a ship crash to add spice to the job. He soon caught the eye of Ruso Iimvch, a wealthy business owner of a cybernetic company that specialized in individuality amongst its robots. There, Gabe received Momo, a childlike robot, as a present and remained as Iimvch’s mistress until the age of 20 when he passed away. By then, Gabriel had finally had a taste of the good life with fancy parties, expensive clothes and exotic food. Gabriel dove into schooling, etiquette classes, dancing, language arts, everything that he could get his hands on to mold him to fit the society he craved. The romance, elegance and excitement of the Geisha world was also his inspiration. He got by on what he could, working nights and eventually Madam Butterfly; named after the play, emerged from the unknown. NPCs: His bodyguard, a 6’4 tall humanoid robot named Roger. He was salvaged from a junk yard and brought back online nearly 4 years ago. Roger appears vaguely human with a torso, arms, legs and a head though skeletal, his face nothing more then a simple band of infrared light that acts appearance wise as eyes and a grate for a mouth. He appears nearly emotionless, often acting a piece of furniture until needed but Ren cares for him deeply as he has saved him from a few unscrupulous clients. Often Roger is called into duty to help Momo with certain things, including assisting Ren in getting ready for the evening. ((Owner use only, rarely used though)) Momo, a 4’ tall feline based robotic organism. Formally a perverted rich old man’s fetish toy, Momo was given as a gift to Ren for her 18th birthday. Childlike in appearance and personality, Momo sports cosmetic cat ears that poke out from a bushy head of lime green hair and a tail. Her eyes are a soft green while her false navy blue skin is stretched tightly over her limbs. Momo is Ren’s personal assistant, acting as part secretary, part tailor, part friend and part whatever else Ren needs. ((Owner use only, rarely used for background noise)) |
